Training, Networking, and More

You can’t build a collaborative practice alone. It is a team effort. Together we learn and grow, refer clients to other team members and work together to spread information to the public about the collaborative process.

The CALM practice group currently meets monthly (alternating between in person dinners and online) for networking, training and business discussions. We also offer a Members Retreat (May 2026) and take part in public-facing events together, based on the interests of the group.

Your CALM Membership Fee includes a group membership to the Collaborative Professionals of Canada (CPC), which offers online trainings throughout the year (including recordings of previous trainings), many of which are free of charge. For lawyers in particular, between meetings/trainings offered by CALM and CPC, you have access to many hours of free CDP, including ADR credits.

* Additional member resources to be added at a future date

A diverse group of professionals come together, placing their hands for a unified team-building moment.

Membership Requirements

The CALM Membership fee is $300.00 for the 2025-2026 year (if you join between now and February 28, 2026) and is $150.00 after February 28th (for the remainder of the school year).

Please note that as long as you have your Collaborative Basic Training, you can become a member and then complete the remaining training within one year of the date of your membership application.

Full membership requirements can be viewed in the application form below.
