Maritza Verdun Jones

Maritza Verdun-Jones, B.A. (Hons), LLB, CCR was called to the bar in Alberta in 2007 and to the bar in British Columbia in 2010. Following her call to the Alberta bar, she has been practicing family law and is also a Collaborative Family Lawyer. Maritza is also an accredited Family Law Mediator by the Law Society of British Columbia. Notwithstanding that she has considerable experience in conducting interim hearings and trials at both the Provincial and Supreme Court levels, she understands that some family law matters can be successfully resolved without court intervention. She believes that the collaborative process results in quicker resolutions which are mutually agreeable for the families involved and the process further assists in preserving ongoing relationships between the parents, which is often critical for the children involved.

I would invite you to contact me at (604) 560 - 1400 or [email protected] to book an initial consultation with me to determine whether your situation is appropriate for the collaborative law process.
