BIOGRAPHY:
Pamela Rowlands is a long time Surrey resident. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University, majoring in Criminology and a law degree from the University of British Columbia. Pamela was called to the bar in 2000 and has worked primarily in the areas of family law and civil litigation. Pamela's work has included being contract counsel for the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance, various family disputes including divorces, separation agreements, custody and access disputes, child protection, and maintenance. Pamela also works as Plaintiff's counsel in personal injury cases (mainly motor vehicle accident cases). She volunteers for the Western Canada Society to Access Justice and works at the Surrey Women's Centre, providing free legal advice to those women who financially qualify. Pamela has completed both mediation and collaborative family law training, and is committed to resolving all family law cases in the least contentious and most fair way possible. Pamela has two children and is actively involved in her children's school Parent's Advisory Council.
